The Shoppes of Schererville, located in Schererville, Indiana, is a prominent 260,000-square-foot retail center in a bustling regional corridor that sees over 39,000 vehicles daily. This high traffic makes maintaining the parking lot essential for ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers visiting anchor stores like Big Lots, PetSmart, and JoAnn Fabrics.
Challenges: The parking lot required a comprehensive refresh, including hot rubber crack sealing and patching around several drains. Additionally, as an out-of-state company, the client sought a commercial paving contractor with proven project management skills to coordinate effectively with various tenants and minimize disruptions to their businesses.
Solutions: Site Services Inc. collaborated closely with the tenants throughout the project to ensure minimal business interruption. Our project manager provided regular updates to the client, including photographs showcasing the work in progress, ensuring transparency and communication throughout the maintenance process.
Outcomes: The project successfully revitalized the entire parking lot, with hot rubber crack sealing, seal coating, and re-striping completed efficiently. The patching around the drains was also addressed, resulting in a well-maintained parking lot accommodating the high volume of shoppers.
