Specialty

Bollards
The bollards will be constructed of primed six inch (6") diameter schedule 40 steel pipe at seven foot (7') lengths. Holes will be marked and augured in the appropriate predesignated locations. Three feet (3') of the pipe will be sunken into the ground and leveled. The remaining hole and inner pipe will be filled with concrete. The steel will then be cleaned and painted with traffic yellow paint.
Wheelstops
Rubber Wheelstops: We will furnish and install new "recycled" Rubber wheelstops. The wheelstops are 6'0" long, 6" wide and 5" high weighing approximately 55 pounds. The wheelstops will be accurately located and pinned to the pavement using steel pins.
Precast Concrete Wheelstops: We will furnish and install new precast conrete wheelstops. The wheelstops are 7'0" long, 9" wide and 7" high weighing approximately 325 pounds. The wheelstops willl be accurately located and pinned to the pavement using 5/8" diameter steel pins 14" in length.
SpeedBumps
Preformed Rubber Speedbump Installation: In the specified exit roadway locations new recycled rubber speedbumps will be installed. Each 6' section is 11" wide and 2.5" high and will be pinned to the pavement. Each speedbump has integral reflectors for higher visibility. The 6' sections will be staggered to create maximum traffic awareness with a minimum interference with the existing storm water drainage.
Asphalt Speedbump Installation: In the specified locations new asphalt speedbumps will be installed. Using a pavement grinding machine the existing pavement will be ground out to a minimum depth of 1.5" to provide an "inset" for the speedbump. The grindings and loose material will be cleaned up and disposed of off-site. A coating of liquid asphalt emulsion (tack) will be placed to enhance the bonding of the new asphalt. New hot, plant mixed asphalt surface will be installed to provide a bump of 2" to 2.5" elevation above the existing pavement surface. The design will provide an incline, a flat top surface and a decline back to the pavement. The finished speedbumps will be sectional (each 8' to 10' long) and staggered to create maximum traffic awareness with a minimum interference with the existing storm water drainage.
Signage
We will furnish and install the proper signs required. The signs can be mounted on walls, posts, precast concrete sign cones or any other method necessary.
