Founder / President
Randy started Site Services in 1982 as a small family owned company. The company initially provided Sealcoating and Striping services and he ran the company from the office in his basement. Now 30+ years later Site Services provides the full line of pavement maintenance services along with asphalt milling and paving and more recently Roller Compacted Concrete. The company has grown out of the basement to its current office in Highland, IN. Still very much a family business, Randy’s sons Todd and Jamie as well as son-in-law Mike are vital participants and the leaders of the organization. Randy spends his time away from Site Services with his lovely wife Cindy and their 6 grandchildren!
Vice President / Operations Manager
Todd has been with Site Services since 1990. He started off striping with Randy in his early teenage years. Overtime he learned all the different types of work we perform in the field; next working thru the different positions in the office to learn all aspects of the business. Over the past 20 plus years his many roles and responsibilities have grown and changed. These roles currently include co-owner, vice president, and operations manager. Todd continues to spend time in the field working on jobsites. Todd is married to Carrie and he has two wonderful children.
Treasurer / Sales Manager
Mike’s tenure with Site Services began in 1998. He married Lisa DeVries (Randy’s daughter) in ’97, so it seemed like a logical step. Mike started in the Striping crew and has worked on all the crews during his time at Site Services. That experience in the crews has helped his understanding of the business operations, and has been on the Sales side of the company now for the past 15 years. Mike is currently the Sales Manager of the office crew. He has developed estimate sheets, job costing procedures, marketing programs and online scheduling for the crews. Mike is busy outside of the office as he helps with 4 boys at home. He enjoys coaching his kids little league teams and plays bass guitar in his church’s praise team band.
Karen joined the Site Services team in 1991. Karen wears many hats on a regular basis. Not only is she the friendly voice that greets you on the phone when you call in, but she does all of the filing, billing, payroll, and works closely with the crews and sales team that service our customers. Karen loves spending time with her 3 grown children and her 6 grandkids. She loves traveling and going to country music shows.
John has over 40 years of experience in the paving industry. John retired in 2002 and happily joined Site Services in 2004 as a part time mentor and consultant. John and Randy worked together on many projects previous to joining Site Services. He brings knowledge of the industry and contacts that have proven invaluable to Site Services. John still can be found doing take offs and estimates a few days a week at Site Services. John is married to Margaret and they have 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. John loves golfing and watching the Chicago White Sox and Notre Dame Football.
Eric came to Site Services in 2007. With minimal asphalt knowledge Eric quickly learned the industry norms and has become a successful part of the sales team. Eric spends a lot of time building his Customer base, scheduling the maintenance crews and job costing for the company. Away from Site Services Eric and his lovely wife Ashley are busy raising and playing with their 4 children (3 boys and a girl). Watching the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and playing Fantasy Football and Baseball yearly are other ways he enjoys spending (wasting) his time.
Jodi joined the Site Services team in 2011. Her previous experience in sales, customer service, and networking made her a natural fit for the Site Services Sales Department. Jodi‘s focus is on building strong client partnerships and delivering exceptional solutions.
When not busy at Site Services, she enjoys spending time with friends, playing tennis, reading, and traveling.
Estimator / Engineer
The newest member of the Site Services Sales Team Marty joined us in January of 2015. Marty has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and degrees in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management. Marty and Ginger have lived in Highland the past eleven years and spend much of their free time cleaning up after their two children, Roy and Delaney, two granddaughters Summer and Kennedy, and their two Labrador retrievers Jekyll and Hyde. When he’s not totally exhausted, Marty is a fan of the Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks and Jimmy Buffett.
Seth joined Site Services as a summer helper on the maintenance crews in 2012. In 2014 Seth was crew leader of one of the sealcoating crews. In 2015 Seth graduated from Trinity Christian College with a degree in Entrepreneurial Management. Seth interned with Site in the winter of 2015 and will be splitting time between the crew and the office during the construction season. After the season Seth will put his estimating and sales skills to the test and will work in the office. Seth is engaged to be married to Katie in 2016. When he is not working or hanging out with Katie, Seth enjoys following the Blackhawks and sampling craft beers.
Shop Manager / Milling Foreman
Gary began his Site Services career in 2012. As a mechanic and operator Gary has a great skill set. He keeps the machines up and running and spends time in the crews as an operator during the season as well. Down time for the Site Services crews has been few and far between since Gary has taken over the shop manager roll. Gary is a proclaimed Die-Hard Cubs fan and enjoys malted, hop-filled beverages.
Our crews are highly specialized and driven to provide the best quality in the industry. 100% of our employees are certified memebers of drug and alcohol monitoring programs and each carries OSHA safety certification. The crews are members of the local trade unions and annually participate at the laborers international union training center and the international union of operating engineers training center. The crews also train with our office staff at the various industry education locations listed above. We have frequent in-house safety reminder sessions (toolbox talks) with the entire staff. Crews are scheduled consistently in the same service to provide quality, specialized products to our clients; although all employees are cross-trained in various aspects of our different services.
