The school system spent a substantial amount of money 3 years ago when they completed asphalt resurfacing projects at the 5 schools. The goal for this year’s project was to protect the pavement to get the maximum life, but also stay within budget. Together we developed a specific “scope of work” for each of their 7 facilities (5 schools, the administration building and the bus garage). The goal was to make repairs to the older pavement, and then crackseal, sealcoat and stripe the newest pavement. Overall Site Services sealcoated more than 530,000 square feet of asphalt and finished the project well before the end of the summer.

In 2011 Site Services was awarded the stone base installation and asphalt paving at the Lincoln Center in Highland, IN. Much of the old Lincoln Center was demolished to make way for new state of the art center. Along with the new building was the total reconstruction of the parking lot. A large portion of the parking lot was constructed in the fall of 2011 with the remainder being completed in the spring of 2012. We placed the majority of the stone base and binder asphalt in 2011 and then completed the surface paving and striping in 2012.
As a cost savings effort they were able to salvage some of the stone from the previous parking lot and reuse it on the new lot. This also saved money on the trasportation costs for hauling the materials as well. The project is a great success and the parks department will receive many more years of great service from the new facility and parking lots.

In 2010 we were contacted by the Maison Royale Apartments in regards to the failing pavement throughout the community. After reviewing the site it was deterermined that all of the pavement was in poor condition and needed resurfacing. But, the money budgeted was not nearly sufficient to complete the work. After working through the pricing numbers and annual budgets, we recommended a 4 year plan of upgrading the asphalt . We separated the community into 4 sections and began the project with the worst area.
The Property Manager Mary Zeigelmaier knew that the parking lots were in rough shape. And by working together with Mary a plan was developed and executed. There is 1 more section that is need of resurfacing and the entire complex will be fully upgraded. The next step is to develop a maintenance plan to keep the property in great condition.

With the opening of La Carreta the management company, Maly Commercial Realty, based out of Ohio was looking to freshen up the lot. The entire parking lot including Pet Smart and JoAnn Fabrics was hot rubber cracksealed and re-striped. A few areas in the drive transitions were patched with our Infrared Thermal Bond patching machine. The area in front of the new La Carreta restaurant and Dickey’s Barbeque was cracksealed, sealcoated, and striped.
